Brass Etched Lapel Pins – Imported

Brass Etching (also known as photo etched) is a great way to reproduce fine detail. Your black and white artwork is photo etched onto a sheet of brass. Black lines in your art result in thin raised metal walls while white sections of the art result in recessed areas. Soft enamel colors are laid in by hand to the recessed areas. The colors are baked, the metal polished and each piece is trimmed to shape. A no-turn nail is attached and finally the piece is plated (gold or silver).
Brass etched emblems may be ordered either with or without an epoxy dome. The dome tends to add depth to the colors, but some people prefer to feel the metal ridges. When your design doesn’t allow for colors to be separated by metal ridges we can print over the dome to achieve the desired look.
